DJs by Leroy Ellington Productions
At Leroy Ellington Productions, our DJ/MC’s play pivotal roles in creating an engaging and unforgettable experience for the audience. We specialize in corporate, private and community events, and on a limited basis we’ve been known to be involved in wedding receptions.
What makes a good DJ?
A good DJ is the musical architect of the event. Their primary responsibility is to curate and mix recorded music to create a seamless and dynamic auditory journey.
A good DJ must possess extensive knowledge of various music genres, artists, and individual tracks.
A good DJ will read the crowd, adjusting the tempo and style of music to keep the audience engaged and entertained.
A good DJ will build energy, create transitions, and craft a unique musical experience.
What makes a good MC?
A good MC (Master of Ceremonies)acts as the host or announcer, ensuring the event flows smoothly. They engage with the audience, introduce performers, and maintain high energy.
A good MC effectively conveys to those in attendance relevant announcements and introduces guest speakers/performers as needed.
A good MC keeps the schedule on track, making announcements for key moments.
It might seem that these are 2 completely different roles, but at LEP, our DJ’s / MC’s combine the latest technologies and experience to accommodate both simultaneously.
